Here wooden barrels are used, which "gently season" the mature and usually somewhat fuller wines. These wines are both fermented and aged in them. But here, too, the soil calls the shots.

GROSSE RESERVE 2017
This Grüner Veltliner was allowed to be stored on the fine yeast for 20 months after his spontaneous fermentation. Smoky with a breath of caramel, fine yellow exotic fruits, juicy and elegant with a touch of tender and well integrated wood.

GROSSE RESERVE 2019
The fine spiciness and minerality of this wine come from the tertiary gravel of the vineyard Steinberg. The spontaneous fermentation with the wild yeast and one-year storage in small oak barrels on the lees give the wine its character.

The wine comes from the best old traminer sticks of the winery, matured on gravelly löss soil, gently pressed and bottled after storage for one year in small wooden barrels in November.

Piquant and fresh, minerally and crisp with a lot of bite, harmonious and supple racy acidity, quite grapey and sweet in the finish. A Riesling in the traditional Moselle style.
